Position: Principal Engineer - Mechanical
Description: Development of new mechanical design and modification of existing component hardware for system power trains and hydraulics. Must have extensive experience in machine design including all types of power trains. Will be responsible for subsystem component design and integration. Will be responsible for selection of industry suppliers and work with these suppliers to define, design, develop, and qualify hardware for test and evaluation on a solids feed system. Must be able to communicate effectively to the design and management team in all phases and aspects of the design from concept, final design, manufacturing, acceptance testing, through final delivery.
Skills Required: BSME or equivalent required. MSME preferred. Must be familiar with American Gear Manufacturing Association standards, forced lubrication systems requirements, hydraulic systems design, roller bearings, power transmission and reduction gearing. Must have experience with solids handling and be familiar with the ASME design code for process piping and pressure vessels for high pressure operation.
